White Wolves Fiction
White Wolves fiction offers a complete guided reading scheme for Key Stage 2. A series of brilliant storybooks and teachers' resources offer a joined-up approach to teaching small groups of children of a similar ability.
Specially commissioned texts that have been written in consultation with the CLPE tie-in with themes required by the National Literacy Strategy and are available for three different levels of reading ability. This allows teachers to provide differentiated materials while simultaneously exploring the same theme with the class.
White Wolves teacher's resources include plot summaries and five lesson plans for each of the three storybooks. Photocopiable activity sheets provide extension work that can be used with the class or as homework. Pupil record cards, author interviews plus guidelines for teaching guided reading are also included.
White Wolves young fiction is an extension of the brand for Year 2. The books follow the same successful formula, offering full-colour storybooks that tie-in with NLS themes for three levels of reading ability. Free downloadable resources are available on the website.
